These safeguards restrict access to your confidential information to only authorized personnel with specific need to access and utilize your information. We train our employees in how to handle your information to maintain confidentiality and privacy. To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer and system safeguards and secured files and buildings.

We may provide links to other websites. If you follow links to websites not controlled by Ewa FCU, you should review their privacy policies and other terms, as they may be different from our website.

Terminated Relationships

If your Ewa FCU account relationship is terminated, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.

This Privacy Notice is subject to change. Please review it periodically. If we make any changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this Notice. Any changes to this Notice will become effective when posted on this website. Your use of the website following these changes means that you accept the revised Notice.

What Members Can Do to Help Protect Your Information

While Ewa FCU is committed to protecting the privacy of its members, members can help by following these simple guidelines:

Protect your account numbers, plastic card numbers, personal identification numbers (PINs) or passwords. Never keep your PIN with your card, which can provide free access to your account if your card is lost or stolen.

Use EXTREME caution when giving out your account numbers, social security numbers, etc. to other people. If someone calls you saying they are from the credit union and asks to verify your account number, you should beware. Official credit union staff will have access to your information and will not need to ask for it.

Keep your Ewa FCU account information current at all times. If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity on your account, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If your account information is inaccurate, incomplete, or not current, you can update it through our Online Banking Service (you must be registered) by selecting "Account Settings" and updating the appropriate information.
